With more than 300,000m³ of material to move at MMG Century’s zinc mine tailings storage facility, Gradco has purchased another large exavator, an 85 tonne Komatsu PC850-8EO fitted with a 5.5 cubic metre rock bucket. The machine will work alongside our Cat 773B dump trucks. When they are finished at this project – due for completion in December 2011 - they will be transported back to Tasmania using our own heavy haulage fleet, and will be available to work on long-term hire and contract projects both within Tasmania and on the mainland.
