We are currently seeking an experienced trade certified Boilermaker / Welder with a proven ability to complete repairs and maintenance across a range of heavy mobile plant. The successful person will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to workplace safety and an excellent eye for detail. Working with minimal supervision, sound problem-solving skills are crucial.
This role is based at our St Leonards facility.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
- A relevant full fabrication Australian recognized trade qualification
- A minimum 3-5 years’ experience working on heavy mobile equipment - desirable
- Valid Australian Driver’s License – HR preferred
- Forklift licence – desirable
- Be able to read and interpret drawings and must have a keen eye for detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A good attitude and solid work ethic
- A positive and proactive approach to safety
- Be physically fit and able to pass a medical
- The ability to work independently and unsupervised
