Gradco celebrate awards - winning apprentices

The Gradco team has been celebrating after two of our talented apprentice diesel fitters were presented with major awards at the recent Skills Institute Northern Awards held in Launceston.

The Gradco team has been celebrating after two of our talented apprentice diesel fitters were presented with major awards at the recent Skills Institute Northern Awards held in Launceston.

The AJL Heavy Equipment Best First Year Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Apprentice (North) was awarded to Toby Wright, while the Webster Bearing & Engineering Best Second Year Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Apprentice (North) went to Jack Phillips.

Both Toby and Jack work from our Maintenance Facility located at St Leonards, Launceston. Their varied roles see them undertake maintenance tasks at this facility and in the field on our various project sites throughout Tasmania and interstate.

“The evening was a wonderful way of showcasing future talent within a wide range of different industries’.

The evening was attended by over 160 apprentices and trainees from many different industry sectors.
