Throughout October, Gradco is delighted to be supporting Breast Cancer Awareness with our bright pink-painted Komatsu PC55 excavator – an initiative which already has seen an outstanding response from our clients.

Throughout October, Gradco is delighted to be supporting Breast Cancer Awareness with our bright pink-painted Komatsu PC55 excavator – an initiative which already has seen an outstanding response from our clients.

In early September, we announced that we’d be offering our pink digger for hire, with 50% of the proceeds going to The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).

This was the opportunity that Gradco Directors, Oliver, Tom and Will Diprose had been looking for a way to give back to the community and to support a very worthwhile cause.

A close friend, Nicole Darcey – a mother of three girls and breast cancer survivor – has been raising funds in aid of Breast Cancer Research for the past seven years.

During this period she has raised almost $120,000 for the cause – with the ultimate goal of having Australia achieve zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.

To support her efforts this year, we came up with the idea of the Gradco Pink Digger.

Such was the amazing response from our clients, that our Pink Digger is now almost fully booked for the whole of October.

However, we’d still like to encourage all our clients to add their support, by assisting Nicole’s fundraising efforts.

We’d also like to extend our thanks to the following organisations who have donated their time and resources in preparing our Pink Digger ready for the campaign:
